Update a deck
Use this when a deck is 90% right. Regenerating from scratch re-rolls the parts you liked; this changes only what you point at.
Steps
- Open Update and load your deck.
- Click a slide to preview it, and type what should change. The first keystroke marks that slide as one you want revised.
- Copy the request and paste it into your assistant.
- Paste the reply back. Only the slides you marked are spliced in; the rest of the file is untouched, byte for byte.
What you end up with
The same file with new slides in place — same styles, same numbering, same everything you did not ask about.
Gotchas
- Be specific per slide. "Make it punchier" gets you a coin flip. "Cut to three bullets, lead with the number" gets you the slide.
- Splicing beats regenerating for anything under about a third of the deck. Past that, a fresh generation with a better brief is usually faster.
